Hello Texy, Laser Iridotomy is often done as a preventative for people with narrow angles to stop them from having an acute attack. If you are in the UK please call Sightline on 01233 648170 and we can buddy you up with someone who has had the procedure done. You can talk to them over the phone with any of your concerns regarding the treatment.

I do not have glaucoma but I do have narrow angle. The ophthalmologist is recommending the procedure to use a laser to make another opening for the drainage of the eye fluids to circulate . Has anyone had this procedure ? Is it easy to recover from it. What was your experience? I'm very nervous about doing this and its for preventative measures....which also makes me wonder if I should do it or not. Thanks . I would appreciate any information.
